Learning Journeys and Activities
How much do I need to pay to attend a Learning Journey or Activity?
The Learning Journeys and Activities are complimentary for all public officers to attend upon successful registration.
Do I have to be a public officer to attend the Learning Journey or Activity?
Yes. The Learning Journeys and Activities are only open to public officers, and that is why valid registration will only be with an official email address. In addition, a few Learning Journeys and Activities require officers' details for security clearance.
How do I register for a Learning Journey or Activity?
Registration is generally done via Eventbrite, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refer to the individual event pages on the PSW Microsite for information and the link to bring you to the correct registration site. Please register using a valid official work email so that we can verify your status as a public officer.
What is Eventbrite?
Eventbrite is an online internet-based platform which provides event management and ticketing technology.
How do I get to Eventbrite?
Each Learning Journey or Activity will have its own unique registration page. Click on the link provided on the PSW Microsite to be directed to the Eventbrite page.
Can I access Eventbrite on mobile or tablet?
Yes. Eventbrite is available on desktop, mobile and tablet devices which have internet access.
How do I know if my registration is successful?
If your registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation email or a course placement letter which contains a ticket. Please bring the ticket with you (either in digital or print copy) to the Learning Journey or Activity as attendance will be taken by the host agency using the QR code printed on the ticket.
For Learning Journeys and Activities that require additional security clearance, you are required to provide security details on FormSG. Instructions will be included in the Eventbrite confirmation email.
Note: You are not required to create an account on Eventbrite to sign up for events. However, it is recommended that you do so to better manage and keep track of your sign-ups and/or for ticket cancellation.
Is it safe for me to submit sensitive information via FormSG?
Yes, it is a secured platform. Information such as NRIC numbers will be masked in FormSG.
When does registration open and how long is the registration period?
There are two waves of registration. Registration for each Learning Journey or Activity is based on a first-come, first-served basis and will close once it has reached full capacity.
Registration for the 1st wave will commence on Tuesday 4 June 2019, 9:00hrs and will close either when all the places have been filled up or one week before the session.
For Learning Journeys and Activities that require security clearance, an earlier closing date is often required in order to give enough time for security clearances to be processed. Please refer to individual event write-ups for specific closing dates.
Registration for the 2nd wave will commence on Wednesday 19 June 2019, 9:00hrs and will close when all the places have been filled up or one week before the session.
Can I attend more than 1 Learning Journey or Activity?
Yes, you can register for more than 1 Learning Journey or Activity. However, you are strongly encouraged to only attend 1 Learning Journey or Activity to allow other officers to particpate.
Is there a waitlist for the Learning Journeys and Activities that have reached full capacity?
Yes. You can join a waitlist (limited slots) for all the Learning Journeys and Activities that have reached full capacity.
Note: If you are on the waitlist, you will be notified via email should slots become available to register for the Learning Journey or Activity on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I cancel a registration?
You may cancel your registration via Eventbrite. Please note that you are required to create an Eventbrite account to perform the cancellation.
Note: You are encouraged to cancel your registration and/or find a replacement if you cannot make it to the Learning Journey or Activity. Please note that we are unable to support transfer/replacements for Learning Journeys and Activities that require security clearance.
How do I send a replacement if I cannot make it for the event?
During open registration period
For Learning Journeys and Activities without security clearance, please log in to Eventbrite to cancel your registration. You do not need to provide a replacement.
For Learning Journeys and Activities with security clearance, please email CSCOLLEGE_PSW@cscollege.gov.sg to cancel and provide a replacement.
After registration has closed
Please "gift" your place at the Learning Journey or Activity to a colleague if you cannot make it. Each Learning Journey or Activity is super precious and popular, so please "gift" it on to a deserving colleague. Please email CSCOLLEGE_PSW@cscollege.gov.sg and the respective host agency contact with your Learning Journey or Activity name, date, time and replacement details of the officer (Name, Office Email, Designation and Agency). Remember to keep your colleague replacing you copied.
We will not be able to entertain replacements for Learning Journeys and Activities that require security clearance as there would not be enough time to process the security details.
